2021 is going to be a strange year. I’ll be going through the rawest rituals of all; Child Birth, and my partner and I will be raising our first born child together, during a Pandemic.
Though the year looks like it’s going to be spent socially distancing, we will be making the most out of it by working further on our art, both in fashion and music. We are currently in the process of writing two new albums, one for Fedrespor and one for Voluspá – And I am researching how to open a web shop – … Somehow, I feel like this baby has given me a new kind of creative spark, and my intuition has also grown stronger. The strengthening of these abilities have come with great cost, but I feel like it will be worth it in the end. After all, everything worth doing in life is hard. I remind myself of that whenever I feel like giving up or talk myself down. I hope you all remind yourselves of that too.
This Yule was spent doing a small but important Winter Solstice ritual by ourselves in the forest. We’ve just bought and moved into our first and most of the time these days is spent right here, in our nest. I’m kind of an introverted person by nature, so that’s actually fine by me, though I must say that I miss my family terribly.
These are the first pregnancy photos we’ve taken, shot right outside our door, (unfortunately without snow). I think there will be one or two more shoots before the baby’s arrival to Midgard (hopefully with snow) (:
Sól, The Viking Queen
This place – “Borrehaugene” or “Borre National Park” is peaceful and beautiful, and the meadowsweet is surrounding the viking burial mounds. If I were to describe what a Viking marked is like it would be something like this: A time travel full of vibrating energies, with the smell of bonfire smoke and the taste of salty meat. 
I need to build myself a throne and I felt very inspired when I saw this one. (Will obviously not copy it – who the f* does stuff like that anyways?)

Frøydis is one of my nearest and dearest friends. We had stayed up until the early hours giggling through the night before, and figured we should keep the party rollin’. We therefore started the following day with a champagne breakfast! Teehee.
Preparing for a feast, the Viking Way. A couple of men occasionally appeared to turn the animal whilst humming to themselves. 
I absolutely adore these mugs. They made me daydream of happy times surrounded by friends and loved ones, sitting in front of a bonfire deep in the norse woods. I imagined sharing stories and laughing for hours, singing and enjoying each others company. Ah, that would be grand. It saddens me to say that there is too little of the sort in my life these days. But I would love to change that.
Oddities like these have fascinated me ever since I was a weird, kinda lonely child. Crow claws are über cool and crows are my favourite birds. I am well aware of the fact that ravens “should be” my first choice- but I guess I have strange preferences. (Ps – these are ethically harvested. No birds were killed to collect their feet)
Okay back to my daydream about the bonfire. In that daydream, these would be filled with mead, and the mead would never end. Anything goes when you imagine it, therefore my mind tends to wander a lot. And wander it does when I am beholding glorious viking goods like these! I could sell myself the whole market with that imagination of mine.
I’ll take the Hammer over the cross any day. Therefore I cropped it away, didn’t let it stay.

I like to change my viking boob bling occasionally. The black beads are actually volcano rocks. Btw- those are my natural nails…Unfortunately, the ones on my right hand were shorter than those on my left. I love symmetry godsdamnit! My nails tend to break a lot due to heavy lifting at the gym. Oh well, totally worth it. 
Been thinking about buying a drum ever since last summer. Any day now… Any day.
